טופ גיר (Top Gear) היא סדרה מבית ה-BBC על כלי רכב ממונעים ובמיוחד מכוניות. התוכנית מוערכת בכ-350 מיליון צופים מסביב לעולם, 5 מיליון בבריטניה כל שבוע ב-BBC 2. הסדרה זכתה בפרס אמי ו-BAFTA. טופ גיר מונחה על ידי ג'רמי קלארקסון‏[1], ריצ'רד האמונד וג'יימס מיי, ומציגה את הסטיג, נהג מרוצים אנונימי. התוכנית פרובוקטיבית, מצחיקה ועליזה. בתוכנית יש סקירה על מכוניות שונות, ובפרט על מכוניות על כגון בוגאטי ויירון, פגאני זונדה או פרארי 430 אשר מסוגלות להגיע למהירויות של למעלה מ-300 קמ"ש. בתוכנית מתקיימים מדי שבוע 2 מרוצים: Power Lap - בו הסטיג בוחן ביצועי רכב נבחר במסלול של התוכנית, ו"כוכב במכונית במחיר סביר" (Star In a Reasonably-Priced Car), קונספט בו נבחנים מדי שבוע ידוענים תוך כמה זמן יקיפו את המסלול במכונית פשוטה ויחסית זולה (סוזוקי ליאנה שהוחלפה בעונה התשיעית לשברולט אופטרה. ובעונה ה-15 בקיה סיד).
