Az alkotás körbevezet minket a Sergio Leonéval való legendás zenéktől az Aljas nyolcasig, amellyel Quentin Tarantino nemcsak, hogy először használt komponistát, mindjárt Oscar-díjassá tette az olasz ikont, aki korábban már rendelkezett életműdíjjal is.
